Hiatus

ATTENTION, PLEASE: This post will remain at the top of the blog until I return from vacation around September 6, 2004.

Following the tradition of the sparrows to Capistrano - CD, Bear, and I are ready for our annual trek to the hinterlands of New England. We are taking a laptop on our trip, so there's a chance there might be some free ranging access to Blogger. But just in case let's make a date to meet back here, OK? I'll bring the cupcakes. With sprinkles.

Oh, man, I am SO totally going to miss you. Nameste.

p.s. I added you to my links page under "good reads", not because you link to me, but because you are a darn good read!

I'll hear you. But that's because I have a type of bat radar that can connect to bloggers without an internet connection. I know how it works. I'm super-sensitive to it myself, having had long stretches without internet access.

I will be sending an emergency blogging care package shortly. It contains: Twizzlers, the latest David Sedaris book, and a USB cable. Just in case.

Have a lovely holiday....

SpaceMonkey - clearly you are more technologically evolved than me... do you tutorials?

I'm shocked we finished packing for vacation. We had stuff piled to the ceiling. In a George Carlin, holy crap how did we get so much freaking stuff way. Way too much to fit in that suitcase. Sort, sort, toss. AS long as we all think really skinny thoughts there's room for the 3 of us. Otherwise? Someone's getting voted off the island. Er, minivan.

Wow, I love all these well wishes. I miss blogging!! But warm thoughts help battle the maliase of driving through the cold pouring rain.

900 miles to go. Nameste.
