There's this great book called "Where did I come from?" He may not quite be ready, but get it now & have it on hand for when he asks.
How old is your kid? I think honesty is the best policy. My kid is almost 3 and we have had the talk. She asked me how the baby had gotten in my belly and I told her the facts. She might not of grasped everything but some things stuck.
or you can always just tell him you were trying to conserve water...
Your "bear" sounds like an absolute riot! I laugh everytime you tell a story about him. I have no advice either way, just wanted to share that with you!

I never had the "big talk" where it was a whole long uncomfortable ordeal. I just concentrate on answering questions as they arise in the simplest most straightforward manner. "yes, we're in the shower together because we love each other's company..."
Thanks for all your feedback!! What a wonderful gift to come home to after a LONG day at the vendor site.
I figured that most little kids have to go through this stage of curiousity before they can understand, right?
My daughter has this idea that it's perfectly OK if the husband and I are naked together...because we're married. Still, it gets harder and harder to sneak around when the kids get older. 7, 9 and 14 here!
